United Energy and Multinet Gas provide a safe and reliable energy supply to people across eastern areas of Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula.
UE and MG are separate businesses with different ownership structures, however they are managed by the same head office. And as separate businesses, both originally maintained their own isolated websites, each with a differing graphic palette, content structure and brand terminology.
The challenge was to combine the two websites into one unified site and deliver a common vision, while retaining separate brand and ownership characteristics and differentiating the Electricity and Gas services.
synrg was commissioned by Partisan Design to take a digital agency role in delivering the website strategy and implementation.
As part of the website strategy initiative, and in conjunction with Partisan, we assessed the strengths and weaknesses of the current websites against marketplace competitors and undertook the following additional services to ensure the website engaged successfully with all consumer touch points:
Once all project requirements were in place, Partisan finalised the design of the new website and synrg developed the graphic user interface and produced the website and CMS.
The site also includes network area maps and outages warning systems. With extensive careers and news sections, the website offers greater content and helps customers and potential employees quickly find the information they need.

I wanted to take a moment to reflect and praise a job well done. I strongly believe we have taken a quantum leap forward in design, readability and functionality, and we should be very proud of the end result... so thank you.
